Cheeseburger Casserole (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 1 lb. ground beef.
02 - 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce.
03 - 10.5 oz. cheddar cheese condensed soup.
04 - 8 oz. sour cream.
05 - ¾ cup bacon, cooked and chopped.
06 - ½ cup milk.
07 - 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese.
08 - 32 oz. frozen tater tots (keep frozen).
09 - 1 tsp. garlic powder.
10 - 1 tsp. salt.
11 - ½ tsp. black pepper.

Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
02 - In a large skillet, add uncooked ground beef and cook over medium-high heat, stirring frequently until the beef is browned. Drain any excess grease from the skillet.
03 - Season the cooked beef with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
04 - Add the cheddar cheese condensed soup, sour cream, cooked bacon, and milk to the beef. Mix all ingredients together in the skillet until the beef is well coated.
05 - Pour the beef mixture into the prepared 9x13-inch baking pan.
06 - Add the frozen tater tots and shredded cheddar cheese to the beef mixture. Use a spatula to mix well until the tater tots are evenly coated.
07 - Spread the mixture evenly in the pan to ensure even baking. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the edges are bubbling.
08 - Serve the casserole hot for the best flavor.

Notes:

01 - This casserole is a comfort food classic, combining the flavors of a cheeseburger with the crispy texture of tater tots.
02 - For a lighter version, you can substitute ground turkey for the beef.
03 - Adding some chopped onions to the beef while cooking can enhance the flavor.
