Cheeseburger Tater Tot Casserole (Print Version)

Classic cheeseburger taste with crispy tater tots, creamy cheddar sauce, and savory bacon in every bite.

# Ingredients:

→ Casserole Base

01 - 450 g ground beef
02 - 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
03 - 300 g cheddar cheese condensed soup
04 - 225 g sour cream
05 - 120 ml whole milk
06 - 75 g bacon, cooked and chopped
07 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
08 - 1 teaspoon salt
09 - 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper

→ Topping

10 - 2 cups (approx. 200 g) shredded cheddar cheese
11 - 900 g frozen tater tots, kept frozen

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 175°C. Grease a 33x23 cm baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
02 - In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef, stirring occasionally, until fully browned. Drain excess fat.
03 - Add Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to the cooked beef. Stir to combine evenly.
04 - Add cheddar cheese condensed soup, sour cream, cooked chopped bacon, and milk to the skillet. Mix thoroughly until the beef is well coated.
05 - Pour the beef mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
06 - Add frozen tater tots and shredded cheddar cheese, using a spatula to toss the mixture together until the tater tots are evenly coated.
07 - Spread the mixture evenly in the dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, until the edges are bubbling and the top is golden brown.
08 - Allow to cool slightly before serving hot for optimal flavor.

01 - For extra crispiness, place the casserole under the broiler for 2 minutes at the end of baking, watching carefully.
