Ingredients

01 ½ cup unsalted butter, very soft.
02 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese.
03 1 teaspoon garlic powder.
04 ½ teaspoon dried Italian seasoning.
05 8 slices white bread.
06 12 slices mozzarella cheese.
07 6 ounces pepperoni.
08 Warm pizza sauce for dipping.

Instructions

Step 01

In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the softened butter, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning until smooth and well combined.

Step 02

Spread the butter mixture evenly over one side of each slice of bread. Place the bread slices butter side up on a sheet tray.

Step 03

Heat a skillet over medium-low heat. Place one slice of bread, butter side down, in the skillet. Top with a slice of mozzarella, 6 slices of pepperoni, another slice of mozzarella, 6 more slices of pepperoni, and a final slice of mozzarella.

Step 04

Place another slice of bread on top, butter side up. Cook until the bottom slice is golden brown, about 3-5 minutes. Flip the sandwich carefully and cook the other side until golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.

Step 05

Remove from the skillet and repeat with the remaining ingredients to make additional sandwiches.

Step 06

Serve the Pizza Grilled Cheese immediately with warm pizza sauce for dipping.
