Preheat oven to 300°F. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper, then set it aside.

Combine 1 cup coarse sea salt or kosher salt and ⅓ cup sriracha in a small mixing bowl. Stir until completely combined.

Spread the sriracha salt mixture evenly onto the prepared baking sheet.

Place the baking sheet in the oven and turn off the heat. Allow the sriracha salt to sit in the oven for 60-90 minutes or until completely dry. Stir the salt once or twice during this time to break up clumps.

Remove the salt from the oven and allow it to cool. Break up any chunks by mashing in a mixing bowl or rolling over the salt with a rolling pin.

Transfer the prepared salt to an airtight jar for storage.
