easy sriracha salt recipe (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup coarse sea salt or kosher salt
02 - ⅓ cup sriracha

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 300°F. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper, then set it aside.
02 - Combine 1 cup coarse sea salt or kosher salt and ⅓ cup sriracha in a small mixing bowl. Stir until completely combined.
03 - Spread the sriracha salt mixture evenly onto the prepared baking sheet.
04 - Place the baking sheet in the oven and turn off the heat. Allow the sriracha salt to sit in the oven for 60-90 minutes or until completely dry. Stir the salt once or twice during this time to break up clumps.
05 - Remove the salt from the oven and allow it to cool. Break up any chunks by mashing in a mixing bowl or rolling over the salt with a rolling pin.
06 - Transfer the prepared salt to an airtight jar for storage.

01 - Keep the salt in an airtight container and store it in a cool, dark cupboard to prolong its flavor intensity.
