01 - 1 (14.75-oz) can pink salmon (with or without bones)
02 - 1/4 cup chopped onion
03 - 1/4 cup yellow cornmeal
04 - 1 large egg
05 - 1/4 cup all-purpose flour or almond flour
06 - 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
07 - 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
08 - 1/2 tablespoon olive oil or vegetable oil
09 - Salt and pepper to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Drain the canned salmon completely. Transfer to a mixing bowl and break it up with a fork until flaky.
02 - Add onion, cornmeal, flour, mayonnaise, chili powder, egg, salt, and pepper to the salmon. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.
03 - Shape the mixture into burger-sized patties using a measuring cup as a guide for consistent sizing.
04 - Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook patties for about 5 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
