01 -
Pass out your sandwiches hot and fresh. Dive in right away so they're nice and melty.
02 -
Do the same thing with the rest of the bread, cheese, and meat until you're done.
03 -
Take your cooked sandwich off the pan and, if you're into it, slice it in two on a cutting board.
04 -
Flip the sandwich gently and cook till the second side gets golden and crispy, too.
05 -
Leave the sandwich on the heat till the bottom bread turns a beautiful golden shade. That usually takes 3 to 4 minutes.
06 -
Lay down a piece of bread, butter side down. Place a slice of cheese first, spread about a sixth of your Sloppy Joe meat over that, then throw another slice of cheese on top. Cap it off with a second slice of bread, butter facing up.
07 -
Smear butter on one side of each bread slice. Place a single bread piece, buttery side down, onto your skillet.
08 -
Get your skillet or griddle hot over medium heat before you start building sandwiches.
