Sausage Rolls Hot Honey (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Pork and sage breakfast sausage meat (1 pound).
02 - Sharp cheddar cheese, freshly grated (1/2 cup).
03 - Panko breadcrumbs (1/2 cup).
04 - Large eggs (2).
05 - Dijon mustard (2 tablespoons).
06 - Fresh thyme leaves (1 tablespoon, plus extra for garnish).
07 - Puff pastry (17.3 oz box, 2 sheets).
08 - Everything bagel seasoning (2 tablespoons).
09 - Hot honey for drizzling.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 400°F. Put parchment on your baking sheet.
02 - Mix sausage meat, grated cheese, breadcrumbs, 1 egg, and thyme in a bowl until well combined.
03 - Beat remaining egg with a splash of water in a small bowl.
04 - On a floured surface, roll each pastry sheet slightly and cut into two long strips. You'll have four strips total.
05 - Shape sausage mix into four long ropes. Place one rope in the middle of each pastry strip.
06 - Spread mustard on one side of pastry and egg wash on the other. Roll up with seam underneath.
07 - Cut small slits on top, then slice into 1½-inch pieces. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with bagel seasoning.
08 - Cook for 18-20 minutes until golden brown and puffed up.
09 - Let cool briefly, then drizzle with hot honey and sprinkle with fresh thyme before serving.
