01 - 8 slices of bread (white or whole wheat, crusts removed)
02 - 8 breakfast sausage links, cooked
03 - 4 large eggs
04 - 1/2 cup milk
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
06 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
07 - 1 tablespoon butter
08 - Maple syrup, for serving
09 - Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Cook the breakfast sausage links according to package instructions. Once cooked, set them aside.
02 - While the sausages are cooking, remove the crusts from the slices of bread and use a rolling pin to flatten each slice.
03 - In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
04 - Place a sausage link at one end of a slice of flattened bread. Roll it up tightly and secure with a toothpick if needed. Repeat with the remaining bread and sausages.
05 - In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Dip each rolled-up sausage in the egg mixture, ensuring full coverage. Place the rolls in the skillet and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 3-4 minutes. Remove toothpicks if used before serving.
