Get your oven heated to 350°F.

Brown your ground beef in a skillet and drain off the fat. Toss in the garlic and Italian seasoning for a quick 30-second cook.

Add your tomato sauce, sugar, salt, and pepper to the beef. Let it all simmer together for 3-5 minutes.

Mix up your cream cheese and sour cream in a bowl. Cook those egg noodles until just tender.

Start with half the noodles in your baking dish, spread on half the cream mixture, then half the beef sauce. Do it all again, and top it off with that cheddar cheese.

Pop it in the oven for about 20-25 minutes until it's all hot and bubbly.
