Preheat oven to 325°F. Spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.

Mix cake mix, butter, and egg with a fork until combined (mixture will be dry and clumpy). Press into prepared pan, covering bottom and slightly up sides.

Reserve ¼ cup powdered sugar. Mix cream cheese, eggs, and vanilla. Slowly add remaining powdered sugar until mixture is creamy.

Pour gooey filling over crust in pan.

Bake at 325° for 40-45 minutes until top is golden brown.

Let cool 10 minutes, then sprinkle with reserved powdered sugar. Cool completely before serving.
