Ooey Gooey Bars (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Crust

01 - 1 box (18.25 ounce) yellow cake mix
02 - 1 stick butter, at room temperature
03 - 1 egg

→ For the Gooey Filling

04 - 1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese, at room temperature
05 - 1 box (16 oz.) powdered sugar
06 - 1 teaspoon vanilla
07 - 2 eggs

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 325°F. Spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
02 - Mix cake mix, butter, and egg with a fork until combined (mixture will be dry and clumpy). Press into prepared pan, covering bottom and slightly up sides.
03 - Reserve ¼ cup powdered sugar. Mix cream cheese, eggs, and vanilla. Slowly add remaining powdered sugar until mixture is creamy.
04 - Pour gooey filling over crust in pan.
05 - Bake at 325° for 40-45 minutes until top is golden brown.
06 - Let cool 10 minutes, then sprinkle with reserved powdered sugar. Cool completely before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Can be served warm or chilled
02 - Top will puff up but settle while cooling
03 - Mix powdered sugar slowly to avoid mess
