# Ingredients:

→ Sandwich

01 - 4 slices artisan bread such as sourdough, ciabatta, or whole grain
02 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
03 - 120 grams shredded mozzarella cheese
04 - 60 grams crumbled feta cheese
05 - 2 tablespoons sun-dried tomatoes, finely chopped
06 - 30 grams Kalamata olives, sliced
07 - Fresh basil leaves, several sprigs per sandwich
08 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano, optional

→ Optional Add-Ins

09 - Roasted red peppers
10 - Baby spinach or arugula
11 - Grilled eggplant or zucchini slices

# Instructions:

01 - Spread softened butter evenly on one side of each bread slice to achieve a crisp, golden crust.
02 - Place two slices of bread, buttered side down, and distribute half of the shredded mozzarella evenly over the unbuttered sides.
03 - Scatter sun-dried tomatoes, sliced Kalamata olives, and fresh basil leaves uniformly across the mozzarella.
04 - Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese and dried oregano, if desired, over the vegetable mixture.
05 - Add the remaining mozzarella evenly to help secure the fillings.
06 - Cover each with a second slice of bread, ensuring the buttered side faces outward. Press lightly to set.
07 - Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Cook sandwiches for 2–3 minutes per side, gently pressing with a spatula, until bread is browned and cheese melts thoroughly.
08 - Cut each sandwich diagonally and serve immediately while the cheese is warm.
09 - Accompany with tomato soup, a crisp salad, or roasted vegetables for a complete experience.

# Notes:

01 - Slice bread evenly for uniform grilling and allow cheese to reach room temperature to enhance meltability.
