Easy Italian Sub Squares (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 2 cans crescent roll dough sheets

→ Meats & Cheese

02 - 8 ounces sliced provolone cheese
03 - ¼ pound sliced deli pepperoni
04 - ¼ pound sliced deli ham
05 - ¼ pound sliced Genoa salami

→ Vegetables

06 - 12 ounce can roasted red bell peppers, drained and thinly sliced
07 - ½ cup canned sliced pepperoncini, drained

→ Topping

08 - 1 large egg
09 - 1 tablespoon prepared pesto
10 - 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray.
02 - Press one sheet of crescent dough into bottom and 1 inch up sides of dish. Layer with half the provolone.
03 - Layer pepperoni, ham, salami, roasted peppers, pepperoncini, and remaining provolone.
04 - Cover with second crescent dough sheet, pinching edges to seal. Mix egg, pesto, and parmesan; brush over top.
05 - Cover with greased foil and bake 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 15-20 minutes more until golden brown. Cool 10 minutes before cutting.
