Iced Brown Sugar Oat Milk Shaken Espresso (Print version)

A 5-minute Starbucks copycat iced brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso made with espresso, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and oat milk.

# Ingredients:

For the shaken espresso

01 - 2 shots hot espresso (about 2 oz / 60 ml)
02 - 1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
03 - 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
04 - 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
05 - 1/2 cup ice for shaking

For serving

06 - 1 cup ice
07 - 1/2 cup (120 ml) unsweetened oat milk

# Instructions:

01 - Pull 2 fresh shots of espresso or brew 1/2 cup of very strong coffee. It needs to be hot so the sugar dissolves and the foam forms when shaken.
02 - Add the hot espresso, brown sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon to a cocktail shaker or mason jar. Drop in 1/2 cup of ice.
03 - Seal tightly and shake vigorously for 20 to 30 seconds, until the outside of the shaker is frosty and the espresso is foamy and light.
04 - Fill a tall glass with fresh ice. Strain the shaken espresso over the ice, then slowly pour in the oat milk.
05 - Stir gently once, dust with extra cinnamon if desired, and serve immediately while the foam is still velvety.

# Good to know:

01 - Best served immediately while the foam is still thick.
02 - Use barista-style oat milk for the creamiest texture.
