Hot Honey Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 chicken breasts (700g/1.5lbs).
02 - 90g (3/4 cup) plain flour.
03 - 1/2 teaspoon salt.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
05 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder.
06 - 1 teaspoon paprika.
07 - 1 teaspoon dried thyme.
08 - 2 eggs, whisked.
09 - 150g (5 cups) cornflakes, crushed.
10 - 3 tablespoons neutral oil.
11 - 180ml (1/2 cup) runny honey.
12 - 3 tablespoons hot pepper sauce.
13 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter.
14 - 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika.
15 - 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper.
16 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder.

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 200°C/400°F. Line baking sheet. Slice chicken breasts horizontally into 8 thin steaks.
02 - Mix flour with seasonings in bowl. Put eggs in second bowl. Mix crushed cornflakes with oil in third bowl.
03 - Dredge chicken pieces in flour, then egg, then cornflakes. Place on baking sheet.
04 - Cook 20-25 minutes until chicken is cooked through and golden.
05 - Heat all sauce ingredients in saucepan over medium heat until butter melts.
06 - Drizzle chicken with hot honey sauce, add salt flakes if desired.

01 - Can make chicken ahead and reheat.
02 - Sauce keeps 1 week in fridge.
03 - Can cook in air fryer.
