Pizza Recipes (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 teaspoon oil.
02 - 1 pound pizza dough.
03 - 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded.
04 - 1/3 pound Italian sausage.
05 - 1/3 cup pepperoni, diced.
06 - 2/3 cup pizza sauce.
07 - 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese.

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 425°F.
02 - Lightly oil the bottom (not the sides) of a 9-inch cake pan.
03 - Press the pizza dough into the bottom and up the sides of the prepared pan to form the crust.
04 - Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded mozzarella evenly over the bottom of the dough. Add the raw Italian sausage over the cheese layer. Add the diced pepperoni on top of the sausage.
05 - Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the toppings. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
06 - Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the crust is a deep golden brown.
07 - Let cool slightly, then slice and enjoy your Chicago-style deep dish pizza!.

# Notes:

01 - Use a 9-inch cake pan for a true deep dish style.
02 - Add extra cheese if you prefer a gooier pizza.
03 - Let the pizza cool slightly before slicing to keep the layers intact.
