01 -
Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or a non-stick silicone baking mat.
02 -
Separate the orange, green, and purple M&M's into a small bowl for later use.
03 -
In a mixing bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder.
04 -
In a separate bowl, cream the butter, sugar, and brown sugar together using an electric mixer.
05 -
Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the wet ingredients, continuing to mix until fully combined.
06 -
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until the dough is well combined.
07 -
Stir in half of the M&M's into the cookie dough.
08 -
Form the dough into balls about 2 inches in size, and press the remaining M&M's into each dough ball.
09 -
Place the cookie dough balls on the lined cookie sheet and bake for 9-11 minutes at 350°F. Once done, remove from the oven and let the cookies cool slightly on the cookie sheet before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
10 -
To make the frosting, scoop the white frosting into a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 15 seconds to soften.
11 -
Add a few drops of neon green gel food coloring to the frosting and stir until it turns bright green.
12 -
Fill a flavor injector with the green frosting. Inject frosting into the cookies from the side until the tops of the cookies crack slightly. Repeat for all cookies.
