Greek Chicken Tenders Flavor (Print Version)

Healthy Greek marinated chicken for quick, flavorful meals. Great for salads and wraps.

# Ingredients:

01 - 12 oz boneless chicken breasts or tenders
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
03 - 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
04 - ½ teaspoon crushed dried oregano
05 - ½ teaspoon thyme
06 - ½ teaspoon minced garlic
07 - ⅛ teaspoon salt (optional)
08 - Dash black pepper (optional)
09 - 1 teaspoon olive oil (for cooking)

# Instructions:

01 - Slice chicken into thin pieces.
02 - Combine all ingredients except 1 teaspoon olive oil in a large resealable plastic bag. Place the bag in the refrigerator and allow to marinate for at least 30 minutes and up to 1 day.
03 - Heat 1 teaspoon olive oil in a skillet or pan and cook chicken until all sides are golden brown and the internal temperature reads 165°F (approximately 7-10 minutes). Discard marinade.
04 - Store any leftovers in the refrigerator or freezer.

# Notes:

01 - Allow chicken to marinate at least 30 minutes and up to 1 day in advance for best flavor. Discard marinade after use.
02 - Use dried herbs and seasonings that are in-date for optimal flavor. Expired herbs may lose potency.
03 - If available, a heavy iron skillet can produce a brown crunchy crust when cooking.
