Golden Cheese Balls Snack (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cheese Mixture

01 - 1 ½ cups (170g) shredded cheddar cheese
02 - ½ cup (60g) grated mozzarella cheese

→ Dry Ingredients

03 - 1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
04 - 1 tsp baking powder
05 - ½ tsp garlic powder
06 - ¼ tsp black pepper

→ Wet Ingredients

07 - 1 egg, lightly beaten
08 - 3 tbsp milk
09 - 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

→ Coating and Frying

10 - 1 cup (100g) breadcrumbs
11 - Vegetable oil, for deep frying

# Instructions:

01 - In a large bowl, mix together the shredded cheddar cheese, grated mozzarella, all-purpose flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and black pepper.
02 - Add the beaten egg and milk to the dry mixture. Stir until a thick, slightly sticky dough forms. Fold in the parsley, if using.
03 - Scoop out small portions of the dough, approximately walnut-sized, and roll into balls.
04 - Roll each ball in breadcrumbs until completely coated. Place them on a tray and refrigerate for 15–20 minutes to firm up.
05 - Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat until it reaches 175°C (350°F).
06 - Fry the cheese balls in batches for 2–3 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp. Avoid overcrowding the pan.
07 - Remove the cheese balls using a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Serve hot as a snack or appetizer with your favorite dipping sauce.

# Notes:

01 - Refrigerating the balls before frying helps them maintain their shape during cooking.
