Honey Garlic Salmon Bites (Print Version)

Crispy salmon cubes in a sweet-savory honey garlic glaze, finished with sesame and fresh chives.

# Ingredients:

→ Salmon Preparation

01 - 680 grams salmon, skinless, cut into 2.5 cm cubes
02 - 1 teaspoon paprika
03 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
04 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
05 - 0.75 teaspoon fine sea salt
06 - 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
07 - 3 tablespoons olive oil, divided

→ Sauce & Garnish

08 - 2 teaspoons minced garlic
09 - 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
10 - 3 tablespoons soy sauce
11 - 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
12 - 60 millilitres honey
13 - 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
14 - 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh chives

# Instructions:

01 - Gently pat salmon dry with paper towels. Transfer to a bowl and toss with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and 1 tablespoon olive oil to evenly coat the cubes.
02 - Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Arrange half the seasoned salmon cubes in a single layer and sear 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden brown and edges are crisp. Transfer to a plate and repeat with remaining salmon cubes.
03 - Reduce heat to medium. Add remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil to the same pan. Add minced garlic and grated ginger and sauté for 1 minute until aromatic.
04 - Pour in soy sauce, rice vinegar, and honey. Stir thoroughly and simmer 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sauce thickens slightly.
05 - Return seared salmon cubes to the skillet, gently tossing to glaze evenly with the sauce. Cook for 1 minute until heated through.
06 - Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped chives over the glazed salmon. Serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - For best texture, avoid overcrowding the pan and cook salmon in batches to achieve an even sear.
