In a mixing bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and kosher salt.

Add in the milk, egg, and melted butter, stirring just until combined. The batter should be slightly lumpy. Let the batter rest for five minutes.

While the batter rests, heat the vegetable oil in a large pot to 350°F. Prepare a plate lined with paper towels for draining the fried Oreos.

Using forks, dip each Oreo into the batter, ensuring it's fully coated. Let any excess batter drip off before gently placing the Oreo into the hot oil.

Fry the Oreos in batches of 3-4 at a time, being careful not to overcrowd the pot. Fry each side for about one minute, or until both sides are golden brown.

Using a slotted spoon, remove the fried Oreos from the oil and place them on the prepared plate to drain excess oil.
