Bread Bowls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 1/4 cups milk, warmed.
02 - 1 tablespoon instant yeast.
03 - 1 tablespoon sugar.
04 - 1 tablespoon olive oil.
05 - 1 tablespoon salt.
06 - 1/2 cup whole wheat flour.
07 - 4 1/2 cups bread flour.

# Instructions:

01 - Combine warm milk, yeast and sugar. Let foam. Add oil, salt, flours and knead 8 minutes.
02 - Let dough rise 1.5 hours until doubled. Or rise in fridge 8-24 hours for better flavor.
03 - Cut into 6 pieces. Shape into tight balls. Rise 1 hour. Score tops.
04 - Add ice to bottom of 425°F oven. Bake bowls 25-28 minutes until golden.

# Notes:

01 - Knead full time for proper structure.
02 - Cold rise gives better flavor.
03 - Ice creates crusty exterior.
