A cold, creamy orange yogurt slushy made with orange juice, Greek yogurt, vanilla, and ice.

# Ingredients:

For the slushy

01 - 2 cups (480 ml) orange juice, divided
02 - 3/4 cup (180 g) vanilla or plain Greek yogurt
03 - 1 cup ice cubes
04 - 1-2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup, to taste
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
06 - 1 teaspoon finely grated orange zest
07 - Pinch of fine salt

Optional finish

08 - Extra orange zest or small orange wedges for serving

# Instructions:

01 - Pour 1 cup of the orange juice into an ice cube tray and freeze until solid, at least 4 hours or overnight.
02 - Add the frozen orange juice cubes, remaining 1 cup chilled orange juice, Greek yogurt, ice, honey, vanilla, orange zest, and salt to a blender.
03 - Pulse a few times to break up the cubes, then blend just until thick and frosty. Stop before the mixture turns thin.
04 - Taste and add more honey if needed. If the blender needs help, add 1-2 tablespoons more orange juice. Pour into chilled glasses and serve immediately.

# Good to know:

01 - Freeze time is inactive and not included in the prep time.
02 - Serve immediately for the thickest slushy texture.
