Easy Cheesy Garlic Breadsticks (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 lb store-bought or homemade pizza dough

→ Topping

02 - 2 Tablespoons (28g) unsalted butter, melted
03 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder or 2 minced garlic cloves
04 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning blend or dried basil
05 - 1 3/4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

→ Optional

06 - Cornmeal for dusting the pan
07 - Marinara or pizza sauce for dipping

# Instructions:

01 - If using fresh dough, punch it down to release air bubbles. Divide in half (freeze other half if not using).
02 - Preheat oven to 425°F. Roll dough into a 9x13-inch rectangle on a floured surface or parchment paper. Mix melted butter with garlic and Italian seasoning, then brush over dough. Top with shredded cheese.
03 - Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden brown. Optionally broil for the last minute to brown the top.
04 - Slice into breadsticks and serve plain or with marinara sauce.

01 - Leftover breadsticks keep in refrigerator for up to 1 week
02 - Baked breadsticks can be frozen up to 3 months
03 - You can use any shredded cheese you prefer
