Butterscotch Haystacks (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3/4 cup dry-roasted salted peanuts.
02 - 11 oz butterscotch chips.
03 - 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter.
04 - 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt.
05 - 12 oz fried chow mein noodles.

# Instructions:

01 - Prepare two baking sheets by lining with wax paper or parchment paper.
02 - Take peanuts and chop them coarsely to desired size.
03 - Combine butterscotch chips, peanut butter, and salt in large microwave-safe bowl.
04 - Microwave mixture for 2 minutes total, stopping to stir halfway through.
05 - Continue heating in 20-second intervals if needed until smooth.
06 - Stir in chopped peanuts and chow mein noodles until well coated.
07 - Drop mixture by 2 heaping tablespoons onto prepared sheets.
08 - Allow haystacks to set 40 minutes at room temperature.
09 - Alternatively, refrigerate for 20 minutes until firm.
