Refreshing Blueberry Mojito Mocktail (Print version)

A fizzy blueberry mojito mocktail with fresh lime, mint, and real berries. Ready in 5 minutes with no alcohol.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup (75 g) fresh blueberries
02 - 8-10 fresh mint leaves, plus sprigs for garnish
03 - 1 large lime, halved (about 2 tablespoons / 30 ml juice)
04 - 2 tablespoons (30 ml) simple syrup
05 - 1 cup (240 ml) sparkling water or club soda
06 - Ice cubes

# Instructions:

01 - Add blueberries and mint to a sturdy glass or shaker. Press firmly with a muddler or the back of a spoon until the berries burst and the mint smells loud. Stop before the mint tears into tiny flecks.
02 - Squeeze in the juice from half a lime, about one tablespoon, and add the simple syrup. Stir to mix.
03 - Pack the glass with ice cubes. Crushed ice works too if you want a faster chill.
04 - Pour sparkling water to the rim and stir gently once or twice to combine without flattening the fizz.
05 - Tuck a few extra blueberries, a mint sprig, and a thin lime wheel into the glass. Serve with a straw.

# Good to know:

01 - Serve immediately while the water is still fizzy.
