# Ingredients:

→ Chicken Preparation

01 - 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
02 - 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
03 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
04 - 1 garlic clove, minced
05 - Salt, to taste
06 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

→ Strawberry Basil Relish

07 - 225 grams fresh strawberries, diced
08 - 2 tablespoons red onion, finely chopped
09 - 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
10 - 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
11 - 0.5 teaspoon honey (optional)
12 - Pinch of salt

# Instructions:

01 - In a medium bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and freshly ground pepper until thoroughly combined.
02 - Place chicken breasts in a shallow dish and pour marinade over them. Ensure each breast is evenly coated, then cover and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes, up to 2 hours.
03 - Gently combine diced strawberries, finely chopped red onion, chopped basil, balsamic vinegar, honey if using, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl. Stir lightly and refrigerate until ready to use.
04 - Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove chicken breasts from marinade and cook for 5 to 7 minutes per side, ensuring a deep sear and that the interior is fully cooked.
05 - Transfer cooked chicken to a plate and rest for 5 minutes. Slice chicken across the grain into portions.
06 - Plate sliced chicken and top each piece generously with the strawberry basil relish. Serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - For juicier chicken, avoid overcooking and allow adequate resting before slicing.
