Amish Hamburger Casserole (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 8 ounces wide egg noodles.
02 - 8 ounces cream cheese, softened.
03 - 1 cup cottage cheese.
04 - 1/2 cup sour cream.
05 - 3 tablespoons salted butter, melted.
06 - 1 tablespoon olive oil.
07 - 1 1/2 pounds ground beef.
08 - 1/2 cup diced onion.
09 - 1/2 green bell pepper, diced.
10 - 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, drained.
11 - 3/4 cup condensed tomato soup.
12 - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce.
13 - 1 cup shredded cheese.
14 - Fresh herbs for garnish.

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 9x13 baking dish.
02 - Boil noodles in salted water until barely al dente, 5-6 minutes.
03 - Mix cream cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream and melted butter.
04 - Brown beef with onion and pepper, drain fat.
05 - Add tomatoes, soup and Worcestershire to meat.
06 - Layer half the noodles, cheese mix, and meat mix. Repeat layers. Top with shredded cheese.
07 - Bake uncovered 25-30 minutes until heated through.

# Notes:

01 - Use well-salted water for noodles.
02 - Don't overcook noodles.
03 - All ingredients should be room temperature.
