Ultimate Alfredo Pasta (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 6 tbsp salted butter.
02 - 1 tbsp minced garlic.
03 - 2 tbsp all-purpose flour.
04 - 1 ¼ cups heavy whipping cream.
05 - 1 ½ cups whole milk.
06 - 1 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded.
07 - 1 tsp garlic powder.
08 - ½ tsp salt.
09 - 16 oz package fettuccine.
10 - Fresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish).

Instructions:

01 - Cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
02 - In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic, garlic powder, and salt. Whisk together until well combined.
03 - Sprinkle the flour over the butter and garlic mixture. Whisk together, then slowly pour in the heavy cream and milk while continuing to whisk. Allow the sauce to come to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
04 - Add the shredded Parmesan cheese to the sauce and whisk until smooth and creamy.
05 - Add the cooked and drained fettuccine to the skillet. Use tongs to toss the pasta in the sauce until evenly coated.
06 - Garnish your Alfredo pasta with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately.
