Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. This ensures the asparagus sticks won’t stick to the tray and will cook evenly.

Set up three shallow dishes—one with all-purpose flour, one with beaten eggs, and the last with a mixture of Panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

Dredge each trimmed asparagus spear in the flour, shaking off any excess. Next, dip the floured asparagus spear into the beaten eggs, letting any excess drip off. Finally, roll the asparagus spear in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the coating.

Place the coated asparagus spears onto the prepared baking sheet, arranging them in a single layer.
