Shrimp Lo Mein With Red And Green Pepper (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 8 oz lo mein noodles or spaghetti.
02 - 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined.
03 - 2 tablespoons vegetable oil.
04 - 1 red bell pepper, sliced.
05 - 1 green bell pepper, sliced.
06 - 1 cup snap peas.
07 - 2 cloves garlic, minced.
08 - 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced.
09 - 1/4 cup soy sauce.
10 - 2 tablespoons oyster sauce.
11 - 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce.
12 - 1 teaspoon sesame oil.
13 - 2 green onions, chopped.
14 - Sesame seeds for garnish (optional).

Instructions:

01 - Cook the noodles according to package directions, drain, and set aside.
02 - Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
03 - Add the shrimp and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
04 - In the same skillet, add the red and green peppers, snap peas, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry until the vegetables are crisp-tender, about 3-4 minutes.

08 - Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds, if desired. Serve warm.
