Salmon And Shrimp Alfredo (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined.
02 - 2 salmon fillets (4-6 ounces each).
03 - 6-8 oz Parmesan cheese, grated.
04 - 8 oz fettuccine pasta.
05 - 2 tablespoons olive oil.
06 - 1 cup heavy cream.
07 - 2 cloves garlic, minced.
08 - Salt and pepper to taste.
09 - 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped.
10 - 1 tablespoon lemon juice.

Instructions:

01 - Cook the fettuccine according to the package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
02 - In a large pan, warm olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about one minute until fragrant.
03 - Add the shrimp and salmon fillets to the pan, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until the salmon is flaky and the shrimp is pink. Remove them from the pan and set aside.
04 - In the same pan, pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer. Reduce the heat, then stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is creamy and smooth.
05 - Cut the cooked salmon into small chunks and return it along with the shrimp to the pan with the Alfredo sauce. Stir gently to combine.
06 - Add the cooked fettuccine to the pan, tossing it in the sauce to coat well. Stir in the lemon juice and chopped parsley.
07 - Serve immediately, garnished with extra parsley and Parmesan if desired.
