Philly Cheesesteak Casserole (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 1 package ground sausage.
02 - 1 red bell pepper, diced.
03 - 1 green bell pepper, diced.
04 - 1 1/2 cups cooked rice.
05 - 1 big jar Alfredo sauce.
06 - Mozzarella cheese, shredded.
07 - Crunchy onions (optional).

Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
02 - In a skillet, cook the ground sausage over medium heat until browned. Add diced red and green bell peppers and cook until softened.
03 - In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage and peppers with the cooked rice.
04 - Pour the Alfredo sauce over the sausage, peppers, and rice mixture. Mix well to combine.
05 - Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly.
06 - Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the casserole.
07 - Bake in the preheated oven for 18 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

09 - Return the casserole to the oven and bake for an additional 8 minutes, until the onions are golden brown and crispy.
