Monte Cristo Sliders (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 12 Hawaiian rolls.
02 - 12 slices deli-sliced ham.
03 - 12 slices deli-sliced turkey.
04 - 12 slices deli-sliced swiss cheese.
05 - ⅓ cup (76 g) salted butter, melted.
06 - 1 egg.
07 - ½ teaspoon pepper.
08 - 1 Tablespoon powdered sugar.
09 - Optional dip: raspberry or strawberry jam.

Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C). Prepare your 9x13 inch baking pan by spraying it with non-stick spray.
02 - Slice the whole package of rolls (without separating them). Place the bottom halves of the rolls into the prepared baking pan.
03 - Place half of the cheese slices onto the rolls, then layer on all of the ham, all of the turkey, and the other half of the cheese slices.
04 - Then place the top halves of the rolls on top.
05 - In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, the egg, and pepper. Brush this mixture all over the sliders.
06 - Bake for 25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the buns are toasted. If the buns start turning too brown, cover them loosely with tented tin foil. (We don’t want it to stick to the buns.).
07 - Sprinkle the tops with powdered sugar and serve with jam on the side if desired.
