Halloween Desserts (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 1 1/2 cups Oreo cookies, crushed.
02 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar.
03 - 6 tablespoons melted butter.
04 - 12 ounces cream cheese, softened.
05 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar.
06 - 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour.
07 - 1/2 cup sour cream.
08 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
09 - 2 large eggs.
10 - Gel icing colors (yellow and orange).
11 - 1 cup heavy cream.
12 - 2 tablespoons granulated sugar.
13 - Optional: little ghost decorations and candy corn.

Instructions:

01 - Prepare cupcake pan with liners and spray with nonstick spray.
02 - Mix crushed Oreos, sugar, and melted butter. Divide among cupcake liners and bake for 5 minutes.
03 - Combine cream cheese, sugar, flour, sour cream, vanilla extract, and eggs. Mix well.
04 - Divide filling into three bowls. Color one yellow, one orange, and leave one white.
05 - Layer fillings in cupcake liners: yellow, orange, then white.
06 - Bake cheesecakes and cool completely.
07 - Whip heavy cream with sugar until stiff peaks form. Top cheesecakes with whipped cream.
08 - Decorate with ghost decorations and candy corn if desired.

Notes:

01 - These mini cheesecakes can be made in a mini muffin pan for smaller portions.
02 - They are freezer-friendly without toppings.
03 - Use a food scale for even distribution of colored layers.
