Fried Cabbage (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 5 slices of bacon, chopped.
02 - 1/2 cup yellow onions, chopped.
03 - 3 cups cabbage, cut in thin strips.
04 - 10-12 shrimp, tail off & deveined.
05 - 1 link of kielbasa or smoked sausage, cut 1/2 in.
06 - 1 tbsp olive oil.
07 - 1 tsp seafood seasoning.
08 - 1/2 tsp smoked paprika.
09 - 1/4 tsp black pepper.
10 - 1/4 tsp salt.
11 - 1/2 tsp oregano.
12 - 3 cloves minced garlic.
13 - Pinch of crushed red pepper, optional.
14 - 2 tbsp butter.
15 - 1 tsp apple cider vinegar.

Instructions:

01 - Season shrimp with olive oil and seafood seasoning. Set aside.
02 - Cook bacon in a skillet and remove it once crispy, leaving the grease in the skillet.
03 - Add sausage to the skillet and brown on each side. Remove and set aside.
04 - Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for approximately 3 minutes on each side until shrimp are pink and form a 'C' shape. Remove and set aside.
05 - Add 1 tbsp butter to the skillet along with onions, paprika, oregano, salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper. Cook for approximately 5-6 minutes until onions begin to soften. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
06 - Add in 1 tbsp butter and apple cider vinegar. Allow them to incorporate, then add in cabbage, tossing well.
07 - Cook for approximately 12 minutes, until cabbage is tender. Stir in bacon, shrimp, and sausage. Enjoy!.
