Five-Cheese Mac And Cheese (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 1 box elbow macaroni.
02 - 12 oz evaporated milk (1 can).
03 - 3 eggs.
04 - 8 tablespoons unsalted butter.
05 - 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided.
06 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese.
07 - 2 tablespoons crumbled feta cheese.
08 - 1 cup provolone cheese, cut into small pieces.
09 - ½ cup shredded smoked gouda cheese.
10 - 4 teaspoons salt, divided.
11 - 2 teaspoons black pepper.

Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
02 - In a large pot or Dutch oven, cook the macaroni according to the package directions. Salt the water with 2 teaspoons of salt. Once cooked, drain the macaroni and return it to the warm pot.
03 - Add the unsalted butter to the warm macaroni and mix until the butter is completely melted. Season with the remaining salt and black pepper.
04 - Add half of the shredded cheddar cheese, mozzarella, provolone, gouda, and crumbled feta cheese to the pot. Mix well until the cheeses are evenly distributed.
05 - Beat the eggs and combine them with the evaporated milk. Pour this mixture over the macaroni and mix until fully incorporated.
06 - Transfer the macaroni mixture to a 9x13-inch baking dish. Spread it out evenly and top with the remaining shredded cheddar cheese.
07 - Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is nicely browned and bubbly.
