Holiday Diy Crafts (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 3/4 cup smooth applesauce.
02 - 1 cup cinnamon, plus extra for dusting.
03 - 1/8 cup liquid glue (white glue in a bottle).
04 - Christmas cookie cutters.
05 - A straw (for poking a hole).
06 - Ribbon (for hanging).

Instructions:

01 - In a large bowl, mix applesauce, cinnamon, and glue until well combined. Adjust with additional applesauce if too dry, or more cinnamon if too wet.
02 - Roll out the dough on a flat surface to about 1/4 inch thickness. Use cookie cutters to cut out desired shapes.
03 - While ornaments are still moist, use a straw to poke a hole near the top of each ornament for hanging.
04 - Place ornaments on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake at 200°F for 30 minutes. After baking, allow ornaments to air dry for 24-48 hours.
05 - Add ribbons to hang on the tree and decorate with puffy paint if desired.

Notes:

01 - Adjust consistency with more applesauce or cinnamon as needed.
02 - Ensure ornaments are fully dry before hanging.
03 - Decorate with puffy paint for a festive touch.
