Holiday Appetizer Recipes (Print Version)
Ingredients:
01 -
1 (8 oz) package refrigerated crescent roll dough or pizza dough.
02 -
1 cup spinach dip (store-bought or homemade).
03 -
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese.
04 -
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese.
05 -
1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted.
06 -
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder.
07 -
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning.
08 -
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish).
09 -
Marinara sauce (optional, for dipping).
Instructions:
01 -
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or grease lightly.
02 -
Roll out the crescent roll or pizza dough on a floured surface. If using crescent dough, press seams to form one sheet. Cut the dough into a large triangle shape to resemble a Christmas tree.
03 -
Spread a layer of spinach dip over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan over the spinach dip.
04 -
Cut horizontal slits along both sides of the triangle, about 1 inch apart, leaving the center intact.
05 -
Gently twist each strip to form branches, securing filling inside.
06 -
Mix melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning in a small bowl. Brush over the Christmas tree for flavor.
07 -
Place on baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
08 -
Let cool briefly, garnish with parsley, and serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes:
01 -
For best flavor, brush with seasoned butter before baking.
02 -
Serve with warm marinara sauce for dipping.
03 -
Twist branches tightly to secure filling.
