Cheesesteak, Tortellini, Provolone, Main Dish (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 1 lb thinly sliced beef steak (ribeye or sirloin).
02 - 1 package cheese tortellini.
03 - 1 onion, sliced.
04 - 1 green bell pepper, sliced.
05 - 2 tablespoons butter.
06 - 2 tablespoons flour.
07 - 2 cups milk.
08 - 1 cup shredded provolone cheese.

Instructions:

01 - Cook the cheese tortellini according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
02 - In a large skillet, cook the thinly sliced beef over medium heat until browned. Set the beef aside.
03 - In the same skillet, cook the onion and green bell pepper until tender, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
04 - Melt the butter in the skillet, then stir in the flour, cooking for 1-2 minutes to create a roux.
05 - Slowly add the milk, whisking constantly, and cook for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
06 - Stir in the shredded provolone cheese, allowing it to melt into a smooth sauce.
07 - Add the cooked tortellini, beef, onions, and bell peppers to the skillet. Stir everything together and heat through.
08 - Serve hot and enjoy the rich, cheesy flavors!.
