→ For Frying & Finishing

09 - Vegetable oil for frying
10 - Powdered sugar for dusting

# Instructions:

01 - In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar until well combined.
02 - In a separate bowl, whisk the egg, vanilla extract, milk, and melted butter together until smooth.
03 - Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until the dough comes together. The dough should be soft but not too sticky.
04 - In a deep skillet or saucepan, heat oil to 175°C (350°F). Use enough oil to submerge the beignets halfway.
05 - Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and gently drop them into the hot oil. Fry for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and puffed.
06 - Remove the beignets from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
07 - Dust with powdered sugar while the beignets are still warm.
08 - Serve immediately with coffee or hot chocolate.

# Notes:

01 - Beignets are best enjoyed fresh and warm, shortly after frying.
02 - Ensure oil temperature remains consistent for even cooking.
