Texas Toast French Dips (Print Version)

Garlic Texas toast layered with roast beef and provolone, served warm with flavorful au jus for dipping.

01 - 8 slices frozen garlic Texas toast
02 - 1 packet au jus gravy mix
03 - 710 millilitres cold water
04 - 450 grams sliced deli roast beef
05 - 8 slices provolone cheese
06 - Dried parsley, for garnish (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 220°C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
02 - Arrange frozen garlic Texas toast on the prepared tray. Bake for 8 minutes, turning halfway through or as indicated on the package.
03 - While the toast bakes, dissolve au jus gravy mix in 710 millilitres cold water and prepare according to package instructions until hot and savory.
04 - Once gravy is ready, submerge sliced roast beef in the hot au jus to gently heat without overcooking.
05 - Lay a half slice of provolone cheese onto each piece of baked toast. Evenly divide the warmed roast beef across the toasts, then top each with another half slice of provolone.
06 - Return assembled toasts to the oven and bake for 3 to 5 minutes until the cheese is fully melted and bubbling.
07 - Garnish with dried parsley if desired. Serve immediately alongside hot au jus for dipping.
