Teriyaki Beef Pineapple Rice Stack (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Rice Base

01 - 2 cups long-grain white rice
02 - 720 ml chicken broth
03 - 60 ml soy sauce
04 - 15 ml toasted sesame oil
05 - 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder

→ Beef Layer

06 - 450 grams boneless sirloin steak, thinly sliced
07 - 60 ml teriyaki sauce
08 - 60 ml honey
09 - 0.5 teaspoon freshly grated ginger

→ Fruit Topping

10 - 1 cup pineapple chunks, drained

# Instructions:

01 - Heat chicken broth in a large pot until boiling. Stir in rice, soy sauce, sesame oil, and garlic powder. Lower heat, cover, and simmer gently for 20 to 25 minutes until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
02 - In a bowl, combine teriyaki sauce, honey, and grated ginger. Add steak slices and toss thoroughly. Marinate for a minimum of 15 minutes to develop flavour.
03 - Place marinated beef on a hot grill or grill pan, cooking each side until beef is cooked through and edges begin to char slightly.
04 - Spoon rice onto a serving dish, layer with grilled beef slices, and scatter pineapple chunks on top.
05 - Serve immediately for optimal freshness and texture.
