Cookie Banana Bread (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - ½ cup unsalted butter, browned.
02 - 1 cup light brown sugar.
03 - 3-4 overripe bananas, mashed.
04 - 1 large egg.
05 - ¼ cup whole milk.
06 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
07 - 1 teaspoon almond extract.
08 - 2 cups all-purpose flour.
09 - 1 teaspoon baking powder.
10 - ¼ teaspoon salt.
11 - ½ cup festive sprinkles.

# Instructions:

01 - Cook butter in saucepan over medium heat 5-10 minutes until golden brown and nutty smelling. Let cool 5-10 minutes.
02 - Combine cooled butter and brown sugar in large bowl. Add mashed bananas, extracts, milk, and egg.
03 - Gently fold in flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined. Don't overmix.
04 - Stir in most sprinkles, save some for topping. Pour into greased 9x5 loaf pan and top with remaining sprinkles.
05 - Bake at 350°F for 60-70 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
06 - Let cool in pan 30 minutes before slicing.

# Notes:

01 - Can use melted butter instead of brown butter if short on time.
02 - Cooling time is important for proper texture.
