Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake with 5 Ingredients (Print version)

A 5-ingredient strawberry cheesecake dump cake with sweet berry filling, cream cheese pockets, and a buttery cake mix topping.

# Ingredients:

For the strawberry layer

01 - 2 cans (21 oz each, 595 g each) strawberry pie filling
02 - 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
03 - 1/4 cup (50 g) granulated sugar

For the topping

04 - 1 box (15.25 oz, 432 g) yellow cake mix
05 - 1/2 cup (113 g) unsalted butter, melted

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
02 - Beat the softened cream cheese and sugar in a medium bowl until smooth and creamy, about 1-2 minutes.
03 - Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
04 - Drop small spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the strawberry filling, leaving some fruit visible between spoonfuls.
05 - Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the top. Drizzle the melted butter slowly across the cake mix, covering as much of the surface as possible.
06 - Bake for 50-60 minutes, until the top is golden and the strawberry filling bubbles around the edges. Cool for at least 20 minutes before scooping.

# Good to know:

01 - Let the dessert rest before serving so the berry filling thickens.
02 - Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or chilled with whipped cream.
03 - Store covered leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
