Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook until al dente according to package instructions. Drain, reserving 120 milliliters of the cooking water.

Combine diced chicken breast with Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken and sear for 6 to 8 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Reduce heat to medium. In the same skillet, melt unsalted butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Stir in honey and let simmer for 1 minute to meld flavors.

Pour in heavy cream and stir until fully combined. Simmer the sauce for 2 to 3 minutes or until slightly thickened.

Return cooked chicken to the skillet and toss to coat thoroughly in the sauce.

Add drained fettuccine to the pan and gently toss with chicken and sauce. If needed, adjust consistency with reserved pasta water.
