Spaghetti Grilled Cheese Sandwich (Print Version)

Layered pasta, rich sauce, and cheese blend in crisp garlic bread for an indulgent grilled sandwich.

# Ingredients:

→ Garlic Bread

01 - 2 slices soft Italian bread
02 - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, softened
03 - 0.5 teaspoon fresh basil, finely chopped
04 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese, finely grated

→ Filling

06 - 0.5 cup prepared Bolognese sauce
07 - 1 cup cooked angel hair pasta
08 - 6 slices fresh mozzarella cheese

# Instructions:

01 - Combine minced garlic, chopped basil, and softened butter in a small bowl, mixing until evenly blended. Spread the mixture generously on one side of each bread slice. Sprinkle 0.5 tablespoon grated Parmesan onto each buttered side, pressing gently to adhere.
02 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add angel hair pasta and cook until al dente, following the pasta package timing. Drain thoroughly.
03 - In a clean bowl, stir the drained hot pasta into the prepared Bolognese sauce until evenly coated.
04 - Place one bread slice butter-side down on a clean surface. Top with 3 slices of mozzarella to fully cover the bread. Spoon the sauced pasta mixture evenly over the cheese. Layer the remaining mozzarella slices atop the pasta, then finish with the second slice of bread, butter-side facing upward.
05 - Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-low heat. Place the assembled sandwich in the pan and cover with a lid. Cook undisturbed for 5–6 minutes until the bottom is golden brown. Flip the sandwich carefully, re-cover, and cook until the second side is golden and the cheese has completely melted.
