South Carolina Bird Dog Sandwiches (Print Version)

Crispy chicken tenders and bacon topped with melted cheddar and honey mustard sauce on warm hoagie rolls.

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 hoagie rolls
02 - 8 crispy chicken tenders (store-bought or homemade)
03 - 8 slices bacon, cooked

→ Toppings & Sauces

04 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
05 - 1/2 cup honey mustard sauce
06 - 1/4 cup barbecue sauce (optional)
07 - Dill pickles (optional for garnish)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
02 - Slice the hoagie rolls and place two crispy chicken tenders in each roll.
03 - Drizzle honey mustard sauce over the chicken tenders, followed by barbecue sauce if using.
04 - Top each sandwich with two slices of bacon and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the sandwiches.
05 - Place the sandwiches on a baking sheet and bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
06 - Garnish with dill pickles if desired, and serve warm.
