Delicious Snickers Salad (Print version)

A creamy no-bake Snickers salad with tart apples, vanilla pudding, whipped topping, chopped candy bars, and caramel.

# Ingredients:

For the creamy base

01 - 1 (3.4 oz / 96 g) box instant vanilla pudding mix
02 - 1 cup (240 ml) cold milk
03 - 1 (8 oz / 225 g) tub whipped topping, thawed

For the salad

04 - 4 large Granny Smith apples, cored and diced
05 - 1 large Honeycrisp apple, cored and diced
06 - 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
07 - 6 full-size Snickers bars, about 11 oz (312 g), chopped
08 - 1/2 cup (55 g) chopped pecans, optional
09 - 1/4 cup (80 g) caramel sauce, plus more to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Whisk the instant vanilla pudding mix with the cold milk in a large bowl until smooth. Let it stand for 5 minutes so it thickens.
02 - Add the thawed whipped topping and fold gently with a spatula until the mixture is creamy and even.
03 - Core and dice the apples into bite-size pieces. Toss them with lemon juice to slow browning.
04 - Fold the apples, most of the chopped Snickers, and the pecans into the pudding mixture. Save a little candy for garnish.
05 - Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Drizzle with caramel sauce and top with the reserved Snickers just before serving.

# Good to know:

01 - Best served the same day for crisp apples and fluffy cream.
02 - Chill for 30 minutes before serving if time allows.
03 - Use tart apples to balance the sweetness.
