Cinnamon Blondies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened.
02 - ¾ cup granulated sugar.
03 - ¾ cup light brown sugar, packed.
04 - 2 large eggs, room temperature.
05 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract.
06 - 2⅓ cups all-purpose flour, plus more as needed.
07 - 1½ teaspoons baking powder.
08 - ½ teaspoon cream of tartar.
09 - ½ teaspoon salt.
10 - 1 cup white chocolate chips, plus 1 tablespoon for topping.
11 - ¼ cup granulated sugar (for filling).
12 - 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon (for filling).

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 350°F. Line 9-inch square pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang.
02 - Beat butter and sugars until fluffy, 2-3 minutes. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat in flour mixture, then 1 cup chips.
03 - Press half dough in pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mix (reserve 1 teaspoon). Layer remaining dough in flattened pieces on top.
04 - Add remaining chips and reserved cinnamon-sugar. Bake 32-35 minutes until toothpick comes out mostly clean.
05 - Cool completely in pan, about 1 hour, before cutting.

01 - Freezes well up to 3 months.
02 - Cream of tartar optional but adds signature flavor.
