Slow Cooker Beef Brisket With BBQ Sauce (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 onion, sliced.
02 - 4 cloves garlic, minced.
03 - 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper.
04 - 1/2 cup beef broth.
05 - 1 tablespoon brown sugar.
06 - 1 tablespoon smoked paprika.
07 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano.
08 - 3-4 lbs beef brisket.
09 - 1 cup BBQ sauce.
10 - Salt to taste.

# Instructions:

01 - Rub salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and oregano over the surface of the beef brisket.
02 - Layer the bottom of your slow cooker with sliced onions and minced garlic.
03 - Place the seasoned brisket on top of the onion layer.
04 - Pour the beef broth and BBQ sauce over the brisket.
05 - Sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over the top of the brisket.
06 - Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 8-10 hours until the beef is tender and easily falls apart.
07 - Once cooked, remove the brisket from the slow cooker and let it rest for about 10 minutes.
08 - Slice the brisket and serve with additional BBQ sauce if desired.
