Rub salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and oregano over the surface of the beef brisket.

Layer the bottom of your slow cooker with sliced onions and minced garlic.

Place the seasoned brisket on top of the onion layer.

Pour the beef broth and BBQ sauce over the brisket.

Sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over the top of the brisket.

Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 8-10 hours until the beef is tender and easily falls apart.

Once cooked, remove the brisket from the slow cooker and let it rest for about 10 minutes.

Slice the brisket and serve with additional BBQ sauce if desired.
